Our Property

We converted a 1977 "BC Box" into an elegant, comfortable, and spacious abode following the guidance of architect Christopher Alexander, whose principal is to create opportunities for social connection in homes, and communities. Between 2021 and 2023 we watched our dream become a reality.

We feel so blessed to live here and know that you will love your stay!

There are six bedrooms; four with king-sized beds and two with queen-sized beds. There are four full bathrooms, two complete kitchens, and two laundry rooms. We also have 1000 square feet of covered decking so you and your guests can socialize outside in total comfort.

The property has a warm, 15ft x 30ft pool, a canvas and vine-covered pergola, a hot tub, and a gas fire pit area. Imagine the fun memories you can make in this magical place!

Included In Your Stay

Two full kitchens with quartz counters are stocked with complimentary coffee, assorted teas, sugar, spices, oils and vinegars. The bathrooms contain quality shampoo, conditioner and soap. We provide beautiful bedding, plush towels, and pool and beach towels.

Spacious & Private

Originally from the Azores region in Portugal, the Borba Family arrived in Penticton and purchased the nicest 25 acres in Penticton. They planted grapes, fruit trees and ranched a few dozen sheep and cattle. The Borbas created Abella Farms and eventually their parcel of land was subdivided. Our 1.3 acres remain in the Agriculture Land Reserve and we are replanting apple and cherry trees. Between 2021 and 2022, Benchview Estate was fully renovated and the dream to live in absolute beauty, like the Borbas, was achieved. Our home is spacious and private with only one lovely neighbor, who operates a successful fruit orchard.

Days By the Pool

The pool is steps from the walk out basement and situated 20 feet above the surrounding agriculture.

The result is an "infinite" feel with unobstructed views of the amazing Okanagan landscape. We love Penticton summers by the pool and so will you and your guests!

We will attend each day to clean and maintain the pool and hot tub to ensure you enjoy crystal clear water.

We strive to be of service to make your holiday as delightful as possible. Hosting is our specialty. If you wish to place a grocery order before you arrive, we will arrange to pick up the order and stock the refrigerator and pantry with your items. We are on call 24-7 and will provide you with information on activities and attractions during your stay. We will share all of Penticton's best-kept secrets!
